万安 Wàn ān


I remember back when dalam class Mandarin dulu zaman uni, antara perkataan mandarin yang I masih ingat was.. 万安 Wàn ān which means goodnite! sebab class mandarin petang2 adalah sesuatu yang mengundang tidur :')


anyways, as I scrolling down my instagram I notice ramaiiii my my friends baru melahirkan baby!wuhuuu congratulations beautiful people!!and being a new parent I bet you, benda yang you paling rindui adalah..


tidur yang aman haha xD


hence, today I would like to share something that hopefully beneficial to all new parents or oldie(?) parents as well, what I did to teach my children supaya ada routine tidur yang establish. because honestly people, as much as we love our children, it would be nice if dapat me time or rehat awal malam2  >.<


when I had Yusuf 3 years back, tak pernah terfikir pun nak sleep training dia. its just happened setiap malam kebetulan I did the same routine over and over again, sampai satu level his body clock understand it by himself and  as young as 3 months ++ Yusuf naturally terbiasa tidur timing yang sama. 


so, what did I do?

a) Establish as early as you can

- I read from Dr. Sheikh Muzasaphar punya sharing that children loves routine. so if you set a stable routine dkt anak, inshaallah they will install it in their mind and embrace it!

 

So everydayyyy, I did the same routine to Yusuf and now to my Hajar as well. mandi sebelum nk masuk Maghrib and by 9pm tuck them to sleep! Every single day would be around the same timing so that body clock diorg install untuk tidur waktu yang sama. 


BUT before you tuck them to sleep, make sure that :

Number 1 : Ensure tempat untuk tidur malam keadaan malap & senyap. While masa untuk tidur siang hari (nap) , tidurkan anak dekat tempat yang agak cerah and sedikit bising. contoh bunyi TV ke, bunyi org ckp2 sikit2 ke. so that they will learn that itu adalah siang hari (bising & bercahaya) while malam pulak lebih gelap and sunyi.


Number 2 : Tidak tidur siang (nap) berlebihan and tido selepas waktu Asar 

both Yusuf & Hajar take naps accordingly. untuk Yusuf, kadang nap kadang tidak. but when he take his nap, we always make sure nap dia takkan melebihi waktu asar.

 

why?

pernah tak you bangun dari tertido asar pastu rasa keliru dengan dunia ni?? then mula lah nk mengamok haha. orang dewasa pun boleh bingung dgn diri sendiri apatah lagi budak kecik. because we realize Yusuf kalau terlajak tidur mesti bangun nak nangis2 emosi tak tentu hala. so we always prevent him dari nap terlajak waktu Asar or tidur selepas  Asar. 

Number 3 : Perut kenyang & nappy bersih

always and always make sure anak tidur dalam keadaan yang super comfort! so that we parents pun dapat rileks in super comfort xD

Number 4 : Ber-aktiviti waktu petang supaya anak letih di malam hari

ever since Yusuf baby, I always make sure ada physical activity yang dapat dibuat. contoh time dia baby2, tolak stroller depan rumah amik angin ke (penat tang mana tak pasti padahal duduk dalam stroller je pun haha), dah besar sikit main air dalam pool DIY tu ke, and now he's 3 years old dah terrer main scooter <3

Kalau hari2 nak repeat anak mandi dalam pool DIY tu pun take haha. because do you know 10 minute activity anak bermain air penatnya seperti seharian bermain?

haa nak beli pool DIY dkt online lah tu terus haha

but please do so oki! 

Time Yusuf baby2 I love to bring him to baby spa at Happikiddo. sadly sekarang musim Covid, Hajar tak dapat merasa lagi wuwu.

 

Number 5 - Without this, tak bermakna segala keringat beli pool DIY , which is..


EFFORT & CONSISTENCY !

Time Yusuf baby2 dulu, we did sacrificed keluar malam semua just to establish his night routine properly. even holiday duduk hotel 17 bintang sekali pun, bila time masuk waktu tidur ;

 

beliau kena tidur haha sorry Yusuf xD

 

maybe some of you wonder whyyy is it so important to establish waktu tidur yang stable? Do you know that kanak2 yang mempunyai waktu tidur yang tetap and tidur awal otak mereka dapat berkembang lebih baik? and they will develop a behavior yang senang di lentur. its not that takde tantrum lansung, but at least you can have a better control to the behavior. 

and paling penting sekali kanak2 yang tidur awal akan bangun awal.. and yang tidur lambat pun, 


bangun awal ;')

ps/ my dear second born Hajar, if Hajar dah besar and baca ni pastu tacing kenapa ummi sebut semua nama Abang Yusuf je, sorry baby. Dont worry Hajar pun kena sleep trainned sama haha xD

Hello sabby,

my initial plan was to create my own website... 

But then lepas berejam mengadap segala tutorial
 and teringat zaman belajar dulu pun kalau bab editing
 sanggup upah budak AD  (art&design) set mcdonalds utk edit segala,
maka saya give up. and teruskan je pakai blogspot lama.
